Hello Everyone !

I am a bit new to EOS and i am having trouble with eBGP and 32 Byte asns. I was not able to find any documentation on my switch model and if it supports 32 bytes ASN and if i can upgrade it support a 32 byte asn OR if there is a speical command required to use a 32 byte asn like 397149 as just typing “router bgp 397149” throws an error of course since it looks to be expecting 2byte asn.

Here is a switch info.

Software image version: 4.9.3.2
Internal build version: 4.9.3.2-676849.EOS4932

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

That means 4byte(32 bit) ASN.
EOS support 4byte ASN since 4.15.0F.
https://eos.arista.com/eos-4-15-0f/bgp-4-byte-asn/
7050S-52 is already announced end of sales and it will be reached EOL in next year.

I recommend upgrade 7050SX or the latest EOS image. 7050S-52’s the last EOS is 4.18.10M.
