Can you please confirm my below understanding

  • Et 1/1 to 96/1 are 10/25 Gig ports
  • Et 97/1 to 104/1 are 100 Gig ports

Thanks for reaching out.

7050SX3-96YC8 has 96x 25G SFP ports(int et1 to et96 --->25G SFP interfaces can be used for 25G/ 1G/10G SFP+) ,

8x 100G QSFP ports (i.e int et 97 to et 104 are 100G ports and can be used as either 4*25G or 4*10G or 2 * 50G)

In addition, the system has 2x 1/10G SFP+ ports numbered 105 and 106 of which one is always active(106) and the second can be activated by disabling an alternate port.These ports are intended mostly for management purposes.

So the system allows for up to 129 total ports(96 +  (8*4 )+ 1).

To clarify Bhavana's answer, the port number maps are in the architecture whitepaper for the platform, not the datasheet:
