Hi,
I saw the video of EOS and if I remeber correct, it was mentioned there, that even the ASCI driver is extensible.

Now I’m looking for some documentation about it – but I can’t find anything.

Some links would be great!

Patrick – I believe what you are looking for is the EOS SDK, please see:

Hi,
thanks for the reply. A bit more concrete question:

Is it possible to implement a own buffer management on the ASIC of the switch with an EOS Agent? There are any SysDB commands which would allow this?

Patrick – At this time we do not have support for buffer management via our SDK, if you do not mind contact me at mberly@arista.com I would like to discuss your application and see if we can make some additions to our SDK to support your needs.
