Dear all,

I have multiple Hypervisor powered by Sangfor, I must configure the switch ports in “Based on Mac Address”.

Have you idea aboout this?

In the attach file there’s the evidence that I could insert.

Could you help me?

Following Switch type and FW

arista1#show running-config |more
! Command: show running-config
! device: arista1 (DCS-7140T-8S, EOS-4.13.8M)
!
! boot system flash:/EOS-4.13.8M.swi

Thanks a lot

Hi Gabriele,

I read over your question and it is my understanding that you would like to configure your DCS-7140T to load balance traffic based only on the source/destination mac addresses.

Please try the configuration changes below

conf
port-channel load-balance fm4000 fields mac src-mac dst-mac
port-channel load-balance fm4000 fields ip mac-header
end

To look at the load-balancing parameter we can use the command "show port-channel load-balance fm4000 fields"

Example from the lab
show port-channel load-balance fm4000 fields
Source MAC address hashing for non-IP packets is ON
Destination MAC address hashing for non-IP packets is ON
Ethernet type hashing for non-IP packets is OFF
Source MAC address hashing for IP packets is ON
Destination MAC address hashing for IP packets is ON
Ethernet type hashing for IP packets is OFF
IP source address hashing is OFF
IP destination address hashing is OFF
IP protocol field hashing is OFF
TCP/UDP source port hashing is OFF
TCP/UDP destination port hashing is OFF

Thank You
Shawn Rogers
