I’m having setup as explained in the below link.

https://eos.arista.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/esxlacp5.png

I want to create LACP LAG using 2 ports connected to different switch as mentioned in diagram.

I’m not able to find the way to configure using 2 switches, please help me to do this.

Hi Piyush!

One problem that I found is that in the ”Port Group” properties,  promiscuous mode must be enabled.

Have you checked this great article?

Hope it helps,

José

Hi Piyush,

Do you need assistance on the LACP configuration on the Arista switch side, or on the ESX side ? For ESX, the link provided by Jose is good. For the Arista switch side, you may refer to MLAG documentation, such as :
https://eos.arista.com/mlag-basic-configuration/

Regards,
Alexis

Thanks Alexis for providing me this detail. This could help me to configure MLAG setup in Arista switch.
Now if I confiure MLAG in dual switch setup on the ports where ESXi is connected to. What would be the recommendation for vsphere nic teaming?

Depending on what version of ESXi you are running, there are a few options. I believe LACP was introduced as a NIC teaming options in ESX 5.1 for the VDS and would be the recommended configuration in this case. Arista has published an LACP guide on configuring VMware ESX 5 with Arista MLAG and LACP configurations that can be found here: https://eos.arista.com/vmware-esx-5-arista-lacp-guide/

I hope that helps.
