I have configured layer1monitor for  transceivers  like so

SYSLOG based alerting on optical thresholds

We have hundreds of aristas reporting logs back to a dashboard where we monitor the layer1monitor alarms.

We have several aristas out there that have an sfp in the port, but the port disabled and no fiber connected.  These still set off alarms.

Is there a way to disable layer1monitor on a per port basis so we can eliminate these from our alarm dashboard?

Hello Skyler,

The layer1 monitor feature set can be only enabled globally as of now which includes all the ports. That said, we have this request in our roadmap already and we should see this feature coming out soon in the upcoming releases.

Hope this addresses your concern :)

Port Configuration Considerations. Before you start configuring the software by port, consider the following: FC global and per-port multipath settings are specified.
