Quick question does Arista EOS support EUI-64 addressing on interfaces?

Something like:

Router(config-if)# ipv6 address 2001:db8::/64 eui-64

Hi Jim,

It doesn’t look like we are supporting the eui-64 option in this context. The alternative is to assign your own static IPV6 addresses to switch interfaces. The advantage with this approach is that you can make them much simpler and shorter.

Instead of

2001:db8::+EUI-64 derived value

you can have:
2001:db8::1
2001:db8::2
etc

This would be a welcome addition to EOS.
