I have checked the configuide and arista warrior document but cannot find the command to configure the hold down timer for VRRP and VARP. Can anyone suggest on how to configure the VARP hello and Hold Down timers ?

In the case of VARP there are no timers, as there is no communication between the ”first hop routers” (FHR). VARP is literally the virtualization of ARP in which all configured FHRs reply to ARP requests. For more details there is a good article posted at:

Using VRRP the hold down timers can be set using:

sw1(config-if-Et3)#vrrp 1 timers advertise ?
<1-255> Interval in seconds
