Dear support,
i need to change syslog level from “logging level SYS Error” to “logging level SYS informational”

could i just login into device > input: conf t > input: logging level SYS informational > input: exit > input : copy running start ?

also what is the command to verify the change is successful ?

I am a newby to Arista

Hi Victor,

The commands to change syslog level is right.

To verify if the change is successful you can run the command “sh logging” and search for the specific facility or you can grep for SYS: ‘show logging | grep “sys “‘
