We have a ztp script that copies the latest EOS to flash to upgrade the switch during the ztp boot sequence. This works in most data centers where bandwidth is plentiful, however in some remote locations there is an out of band management network with a slower connection and the EOS download does not finish before ZTP times out. We get the following error:

localhost ZeroTouch: %ZTP-4-EXEC_SCRIPT_TIMEOUT: Timed out executing the downloaded config script after 900 seconds

Is there any way to extend this 900 second timer while the EOS file is still copying?

You can use this command:

#zerotouch script-exec-timeout ?
<1-86400> Time allowed in seconds for the downloaded script to finish execution
