Arista provides an operator with the current RX/TX level of light for transceivers and their thresholds with the command “show interface threshold”. If the light level out of threshold limits, is it possible to have a summary status like “Low Alarm” in the log, in this command output, receive an SNMP trap?
Thanks.

Hello Sergii,

Starting 4.21 EOS release. we have this feature available in EOS. TOI for this feature is
here: https://eos.arista.com/eos-4-21-5f/syslog-based-alerting-on-optical-thresholds/

For the SNMP paths, you can check this like which can help : https://eos.arista.com/forum/mibs-for-transciever-information/

Thanks
Lokesh
