Hi all,

I began with Arista recently, and I would like to prepare for ACE-A exam. From Arista website (https://solutions.arista.com/ace-a-exam) I can see that they talk about official documentacion to prepare this certification but I can’t find nothing. Anybody can tell me which are the book to take this certification or where get it?

Thanks all!

Hi Pablo!

All of the information on the exam is taken from current features as discussed in the EOS documentation on the web site.  There is no specific documentation related only to the exam.  However, Gary Donahue's book Arista Warrior (published by O'Reilly and Associates, currently in the Second Edition) is the definitive guide on Arista switches, and Gary designed the in person training program for Arista as well as the certification.

Pablo,

I too recommend the Arista Warrior, and lot of practice on EOS (vEOS-lab is free).

Play with EOS boot, and upgrades, build your L2, L3, MLAG, troubleshoot, do a bit of scripting.

Everything in the book is good, but the theory only wouldn't be enough I think, it needs practical practice to build muscle memory.
