Hello,

we have a Arista 7050S-52 in our company stock and i have read its datasheet but i could not find much information, i have around 600 interface vlan, 3k ipv4 routes, 6x bgp neighbor with no full table, some simple access list for control switch , i will use copp, my traffic is about 12gbps and 5mpps , and each interface vlan may have 2-3x /28 or /29 do you think it can handle my traffic with no extra overload ? THank you.

The throughput isn't a concern, it's line-rate.
52-ports at 10G means 520Gbps.
One valid concern is the scaling of the control-plane: amount of peers, amount of route, and amount of SVI.
"no full table" is still quite generic; is that 1k prefixes or 100k?

Look at the table sizes in the datasheet:

If everything fit in the hardware tables (MAC, routing entries), then you should be fine with everything you described.

Finally, "overload" cannot be avoided if you create congestion (40x 10G going into 6x 1G peers), but the data-plane will be able to cope with 100% traffic as long as it's not designed for congestion (oversubscribed)

Note that the 7050S-52 isn't supported anymore, so you would not be able to run recent software.

yes i have 2000-3000 routes in my database and about 500x SVI but my concern is if 7050s can handle many SVIs , because otherthing such as MAC,... are fit in my project.

The maximum number of supported SVIs can reach 4k, depending on which other features you configured.

I believe you are far from that limit.

Are you actually seeing any specific issues at the moment?

500x SVI will fit
600x SVI: I am not sure, but it should be fine given the rest of the scaling is modest.
2-3k routes is small, it will fit.

In the below example I created 740 SVIs
