Hello Tomas,

Yes, we do support sflow with ipv6 on 7150S.

While configuring sflow use the “sflow source-interface ” command with the interface where the ipv6 address is configured instead of the “sflow source ” command.

The sflow destination can be directly configured using the “sflow destination ” command.

Thanks,
Yashwanth

This is used for sending sflow datagrams over IPv6 network, but how to configure 7150s to send informations about IPv6 traffic? Maybe I do some misconfiguration, but I have only IPv4 traffic insight, none about IPv6.

Hi Tomas,

IPV6 traffic is sampled by default when sflow is enabled. You do not need any special configuration for this.

However, please note that:
1. Sflow will sample only the ingress traffic on that interface
2. Under normal operation, the maximum packet sample rate is one per 16384 packets. So, it is possible that the concerned packets were not sampled and missed.
