Hello,

I’m looking for a way to check if the running configuration is different from the startup config in order to detect uncommitted changes.

Is there a way to do that in the CLI and/or the eAPI ?

Thank you

Hi Alex,

Thanks for writing in this forum. Below is the output from my LAB device, showing the difference between the start-up and the running configuration. The "-" sign is for start-up config and "+" sign is for running-config.

#show running-config diffs
--- flash:/startup-config
+++ system:/running-config
