Hi all,

We are experiencing PROCMGR-6-PROCESS-RESTART on our 7050×128 switch. It is running an older version of code 4.13.8M.

Progmgr restart flaps some of the interfaces and OSPF that causes disruption in the network for about a minute.

I am concerned about below errors/logs and wondering it they be the cause of PROCMGR-6-PROCESS-RESTART
-failing tech-support job execution
-filling logs and rotating logs automatically
No changes are made to device and we are not seeing any other indications.

Any comment/advise is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jacob

Thanks for reaching out Jacob. In order to get more insight into which process is being restarted, do send in the following outputs to support@arista.com and we can help review the same:

– show tech
– show agent logs
– Contents of /var/core [if any]
