Hi all

I would like to use “v2.2.x Cloud Builder Advanced Provisioning for CloudVision ™ Portal”

The following error occurs when performing upload file(CSV Dataset) in advanced provisioning.

” Parser Error – Serial Number is Required no serial number found on row:”

So when I changed “SerialNum” to “SerialNumber,” the error below occurs.

“Parser Error –  Header is not valid: SerialNumber,Hostname,Gateway,MgmtIP,DestContainer,ConfigTemplate,MgmtTemplate”

What’s the problem?

The extension csv was not attached, so txt was added.

Hi 경욱 민,

From the attached CSV file, I have below suggestions:

  1. The serial numbers in the file are not Arista switch serial numbers and also do not match the format we have. Can we try using the actual serial numbers of the devices we have in the environment? For a start, maybe we can try 1 or 2 device Serial Numbers. This should help to resolve "Parser Error – Serial Number is Required no serial number found on row:" error.
  2. For “Parser Error – Header is not valid: SerialNumber,Hostname,Gateway,MgmtIP,DestContainer,ConfigTemplate,MgmtTemplate”, let us revert to the original format and replace “SerialNumber” with “SerialNum”. For more information on the header naming, please refer to the "D.Example CSV DataSet" in "Cloud Builder Advanced Provisioning v2.2.x.pdf" Appendix section in the software downloads.

Hope this helps. Let us know if any queries.

Thank you for your advice. I solved the problem. I use MS-office in window10 and save in csv form, Problem is [EOF] location, which indicates the end of the file, appears after \n on the last line. There is a slight difference from saving in apple-mac. I deleted [\n] in front of [EOS] using a text editor, and it is possible to import. And when testing with vEOS using EVE-NG, "veos-config" allows you to set the serial and system Macs on a virtual switch. That's why the attached SN and MAC came out.
