I am running vEOS version 4.13.7M-1877079.4137M.1 and when I click on the “Command Documentation Link” in the eAPI Explorer it says that the link is broken.

URL: http://10.10.5.165/documentation.html

Message Received: page /documentation.html not found

Is this expected?
thank you in advance,

Mike Cotrone

Hi Mike,

This is not expected, no. Can you please paste your eAPI (management api http-commands) configuration?  How do you get to that page – do you press a link from some other page or did you simply enter that URL in the browser? Is this reproducible with the latest vEOS image posted on our website?

Thanks,
Andrei

Hey Mike,

This was an issue with earlier vEOS images. This is fixed in the latest 4.13.8 and 4.14.2 vEOS images available online.

Thanks!
Andre

Hi Andre,

This occurs from the switch’s eAPI directly.
1. http or https to the switch
2. click on the ”Command Documentation” for that switch
3. The link is broken and reports: ”page /documentation.html not found”

This happens on all of my vEOS instances and all instances are using the exact same code as shown below in the show version output:

vEOS-1#sh ver
Arista vEOS
Hardware version:
Serial number:
System MAC address: 0800.271a.8260

Please let me know if you would like screen shots also.

As Andre mentioned previously, please upgrade to 4.13.8M or 4.14.2F, where this issue is fixed. Let me know if that does not work for you.
