I have been using vEOS v4.13.7M perfectly and I upgraded one of my VM’s to 4.13.8M to fix the eAPI documentation link bug. Everytime I try to enable “ip routing” it kicks back the command with “% Unavailable command (not supported on this hardware platform).

I compared all of my VM settings and everything matches my working .7M versions. Did something change?

Hi Mike,

My guess is that you don’t have any front panel interfaces in your VM defined (meaning when you run ’show interface status’, you only see a management interface). The way this works, which is admittedly a bit confusing at times, is that all the features that require front panel ports (like routing) are only enabled and available from the CLI when there’s at least one front panel interface.

If that's not the case and you do have some front panel interfaces defined, can you check if any agents are dying with the show agent log crash command?

Thank you  and Yes that was exactly that I wasn’t doing this time around first. I didn’t pay attention enough last time to realize that I added my internal network’s first prior to configuration. Thank you again!!!
