Hello, recently I’ve purchased some Arista 7050XT3-48C8 and after some configuration I’m unable to add them to cvp. I also own a few 7160-48TC6 switches and when I had configured these devices a few years ago they would appear in cvp as unprovisioned devices. I’m trying to configure my new switches in the same way I had configured my old switches. When I try to manually Add Device I’m getting this error message:

Nov 17, 2020 17:15:31
Unable to reach CVP([10.0.X.X]) from device(swweXX) in any VRF(retry)

For reference, I can ping my switch from my cvp server and vice versa, I can also telnet into my cvp server from my switch. My 7050s are currently on EOS-, my 7160s are on EOS-2.21.1F. If I try to downgrade the EOS version to 2.21.1F it results in a kernel panic on bootup.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for reaching out.

1)What is the CVP and TerminAttr version?

2)Could you please provide the tech-support log from the 7050TX3 switch?

Hey, I reached out to support via email. Turns out the version of CVP server I had installed(2018) was too old and didn't support EOS-4.24.x
