Hello,

I was trying to configure monitor connectivity for CVP Cloud Tracer on the switch, but I am missing the interface options as shown in Arista documentation:

Arista(s1)(config-mon-connectivity)#[no] interface ?

set Name of the interface set

Arista(s1)(config-mon-connectivity)#[no] interface set ? WORD

Interface sets Arista(s1)(config-mon-connectivity)#[no] interface set IS1 ?

Ethernet hardware Ethernet interface

Loopback Hardware interface used for looping packets

Management Management interface

Port-Channel Lag interface

Recirc-Channel Recirculation interface

Tunnel Tunnel interface

Vlan Logical interface into a VLAN

Vxlan Vxlan Tunnel Interface

Arista(s1)(config-mon-connectivity)#[no] interface

And these are the options I do have under monitor connectivity

(config-mon-connectivity)#?
host Configure host parameters
interval Configure probe interval in seconds (default is 5 seconds)
shutdown Shutdown connectivity monitor
—————————————-
comment Up to 240 characters, comment for this mode
default Set a command to its defaults
exit Exit from Connectivity monitor configuration mode
no Disable the command that follows
show Display details of switch operation
!! Append to comment

Does it require a certain EOS release or license.

Switch rel: 4.24.1F

Please advise.

Thanks.

Hi Martin,

That option was added from 4.24.2F+ only

Thank you very much Tamas.

So in order to trace jitter, latency, and alike via cloud tracer we have to upgrade to Rel 4.24.F.

Your advice is once more much appreciated.

Martin
