I am looking for the mac address->port listings from my switch. It appears related to the OID addresses labeled ‘dot1qTpFdbPort’ but when I am querying it from Linux I am not seeing the same variables as when I query locally from the switch. Do you guys have any ideas?

Logan

Hey Logan,

You’ll need to add the Q-BRIDGE-MIB file and dependancies to your Linux machine using the ’snmp-mibs-downloader’ package, or copying from a running switch at /usr/share/snmp/eos-mibs/.

Once you have the MIBs accessible by Net-SNMP, adding the -OX option to your commands should have the output displayed in the same way as ’show snmp mib ..’ under EOS.

Hope this helps,
/Phil
